This 13th Century reproduction Knights Medieval Quillon Dagger from the second part of the 13thC features a wide diamond section fullered blade, downturned and flattened quillons and a distinctive octagonal pommel.

The steel hilt components are fitted to an ash wood grip and the dagger comes with a double layer naturally tanned leather sheath fitted with a decorated latten (brass) chape.

Blade length              8"/20cm

Overall length            13"/33cm

Grip length                 3.5"/8.5cm

The dagger has been formed from a variety of sources, but the most prominent is a dagger owned by Alexander Balliol (Anglo/Scottish Lord) from 1280.

Edge sharpness

Semi-Sharp is 'butter knife sharp'; it has a very fine flat on the edge

Sharp has been ground to give a reasonable cutting edge, but final honing, if required, is by the customer.
